Theaibeauty (“The AI Beauty”, “we”, “us”) operates theaibeauty.myshopify.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your rights. Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes some data on our behalf.
Information we collect.
- Contact details: name, email, phone, billing and shipping address.
- Order information: items viewed, carted, bought, returned, and order history.
- Payment information: processed by payment providers. We do not see or store full card numbers.
- Account information: login, preferences and settings.
- Communications: messages you send us.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser, device, pages visited, collected through cookies and similar tools.
How we use it. To process and deliver orders, handle returns and warranty claims, provide support, prevent fraud, improve the store, comply with law, and, only if you opt in or where the law allows, send marketing emails or show you relevant ads. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with. Shopify and its payment services, payment processors, carriers and fulfilment partners, analytics and advertising providers, and professional advisers or authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising and analytics sharing may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under certain laws, and you can opt out as described below.
Legal bases (UK, EU and similar). Performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests (security, improving the store), compliance with legal obligations, and your consent for marketing and non-essential cookies.
International transfers. We and our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Retention. We keep data only as long as needed for orders, warranty, accounting and legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights. Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and US state laws such as the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and opt out of targeted advertising or sharing. Cookies. We use cookies for cart function, security, analytics and advertising. You can control non-essential cookies through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
Children. Our store is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Parents who believe a child has given us data can contact us for deletion.
Security. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service is perfectly secure.
Changes. We will post updates here with a new effective date.
